Shahrzad Koofi Ahmadi

Ms. Shahrzad Koofi Ahmadi has more than 4 years of association with nonprofits on the executive roles including internships with the Asia Foundation and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Afghanistan. Shahrzad having graduate studies in Economics and Business administration at Montclair State University in the USA has won Bronze, Silver and Gold medals in Chemistry, Math, Biology and Singing. She has participated in Leadership Exchange Programs to India and the US and she has written a joint Paper with an Indian writeraiming at bridging the gaps between Indian and Afghan women.

Ghazalan koofi

Ms. Ghazalan Koofi has a Master’s degree from Dunya University in Business Administration. Ghazalan has been associated with non-profits in different positions such as, Program Coordinator, Project Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor for International NGO’s in the Afghan Ministry of Economy. She has also been acting as Director for Vital Statistics and Foreigner Registration at National Statistics and Information Authority. Ghazalan is an active contributor to the development of JEAO.

Saboor Bayat

Mr. Bayat has graduated with a degree in International Relations. He has more than 13 years of experience in international & national NGO’s in positions such as, Village Economy Researcher with UNIFEM, Retail Support Representative in MTN in Afghanistan and Regional Manager, Provincial Monitor in Asia Foundation, Regional Director in RSSO, Program Manager in SSSPO, and Program Manager in SSSPO, and Program Manager/Author in Subh-e Kabul daily newspaper. He is a well-known author and has written and translated many topics in national and international media.

Pushpa Rani

Ms. Pushpa Rani has completed her Bachelor degree in India and Master’s degree from Montclair State University in Business Administration. She has been working with her dad who owns a textile business in India. She is currently working as a graduate assistant at Montclair State University. She is a very goal driven person. She is fluent in Urdu and English.

Nadene Ghouri

Nadene Ghouri is an award-winning journalist specializing in development and human rights issues. She is a former correspondent of both the BBC and Al Jazeera English, and today works as a freelance broadcaster, filmmaker, author, and screenwriter. She is the co-author of three books, including the New York Times bestselling The FavoredDaughter with Afghan politician and peace maker Fawzia Koofi. Nadene is also a communications specialist who has led and managed strategic and peace-building projects overseas – often in fragile or post-conflict nations.
She has written and implemented media strategies for international NGOs along with several high-profile media campaigns, focusing on women’s rights, sustainability and economic justice, or humanitarian emergencies.
