Providing Vocational and Residential Services Reports

Home Affairs Services and vocational services are the most important sources of employment in the Afghan community which needed more attention, while such jobs are consistent with the culture of work in the Afghan community and can serve as a starting point for many Afghans to enter the job market, especially for women in Afghanistan, and providing home-based services can be considered as a necessity in the development of employment and the improvement of the individual and community's economic situation. JEAO undertook this project in the commencing stage JEAO raised Awareness of the program in different districts of Kabul province in coordination with local councils, and other organizations to identify eligible beneficiaries and publicize the project. Distributed and collected application forms and identified 480 eligible women according to pre-established criteria. A database was developed containing information of all the beneficiaries. Its curriculum was prepared for the very first time in Afghanistan trough the team work of MoLSA and JEAO specialists including views from a master trainer. After completion of courses trainees were granted certificates and JEAO did its best to do job replacement for 60% of the eligible women from all the zones through its Marketing team.
