Justice for Equality in Afghanistan Organization is an Afghan women led, non-profit and non-government organization. We promote peace, democracy, human rights, development, governance, and rule of law through project design and management.
Our core objective is to provide services that contribute toward sustainable peace and development in Afghanistan. We achieve our objective through the following efforts: education, community development, capacity building, income generation, humanitarian assistance, rehabilitation, promoting peace & democracy, and defending women's rights.
For instance, we have implemented programs to develop entrepreneurial skills for females, self defense training for women and children, legal training in EVAW Law (Elimination of Violence Against Women) for police, judges, and prosecutors, reconstructed roads, distributed food, constructed housing, health clinics, and bridges, among other accomplishments which are outlined in our ‘Reports’ page and JEAO Fact Sheet.
Local and international organizations have assisted us in implementing and operating our programs. As a non-profit and non-government organization, our partners and donors are of the utmost importance to assist the people of Afghanistan.
