Community Based Nursing School

The midwifery and nursing training program is one of the new programs of Justice for Equality in Afghanistan. The program aims to empower women at the community level with midwifery and nursing skills, thereby increasing the access of people from rural areas to basic health services. Afghanistan has an alarmingly high rate of infant and maternal mortality. Educating girls who return to their cities and villages to provide health services offers mothers in remote areas to have a basic midwifery service. We decided to train 100 females, helping those who are deprived of access to health services. 100 girls in three remote provinces of the country benefit from this program which will last for three years.
