Justice for Equality in Afghanistan Organization, JEAO, with the financial support from Too young to Wed, organized education for girls from 12th grade of Zarghuna and Durkhani school high school in Kabul. The classes are conducted for students who were supposed to attend their last semester and graduate in 2021, however, after secondary and tertiary education was banned to students, 12th grade students also were not able to pursue their last semester to enable them graduate on time and therefore, they missed one educational year. JEAO in partnership with Too Young to Wed is organizing two months accelerated school classes for the girls from Zarghuna and Durkhanai high school in Kabul for the months of February and March.
The aim of the classes is to provide educational opportunity as per the school curricula for 12th grade girls who were supposed to graduate in November 2021. Through the regular school classes, the girls will be provided with quality education by their own schoolteachers following the curricula that was applied at ministry of education before 15 of August 2021.
